A warm welcome from the Oakey family awaits you at Grange Farm, a working farm set in the small village of Godington, in rural Oxfordshire. This beautiful, peaceful location offers all the delights of the English countryside.
Self Catering Cottages
Our five cottages, sensitively converted from original Victorian barns, are located in a private courtyard. Inside and out, their style reflects beautiful country charm, combined with outstanding levels of comfort. Underfloor heating, natural oak floors, tumbled marble and exposed original roof trusses and beams in all the properties. Each cottage is fitted out with a combination of contemporary practical items and luxurious character furnishings. Wi-Fi broadband is available throughout our site.
Facilities – everything to hand!
The kitchen areas contain a full-sized cooker, fridge, microwave oven and dishwasher. Quality crockery, cutlery and glasswear are also provided, plus TV, video, DVD and radio. Each property opens onto attractive, well maintained gardens. Garden furniture, barbecue equipment and garden games for outdoor relaxation and dining are available, depending on the season.
Dog Friendly Holidays
For a tail wagging treat why not bring your ‘best friend’ for a dog friendly break at Grange Farm Country Cottages? Naturally, dogs don’t appreciate cultural city breaks; they want woods, footpaths and fields, all of which are on the doorstep of your cottage. Dogs love to explore new territory; as you appreciate the luxury of your farm holiday cottage and take stock of the welcome tray, your dog will already be sniffing out their new surroundings—they’ll also eat the complimentary biscuits if you don’t get there first!
Walking and Picnics
Grange Farm Country cottages are set amongst a wide network of footpaths and bridleways that lead across the rolling countryside of Oxfordshire. From your cottage door, there is something to suit walkers of all abilities and plenty of places to enjoy a leisurely picnic.
Bring your equine friend!
At Grange Farm we also have a yard of high quality, purpose built stables which are available for guests to hire on a DIY livery basis. You can bring your equine friend with you on your rural break, so you can enjoy the local lanes and bridleways together.
Fishing – Catch a Quite Moment
Grange Farm has its own private coarse fishing lake, a few minutes walk from the cottages. The lake is well stocked with carp, perch, roach, tench and bream.
The Meet
‘The Meet’ is our games and ‘get together’ room for use by both guests and private groups. It has a snooker/pool table and various board games. There are also clothes washing facilities in the adjoining housekeeping area, which can be used by arrangement. We also offer the business guest an ideal base for travelling, with broadband facilities and a meeting room available for hire.
Conveniently Located
London Heathrow, Luton and Birmingham Airports are in easy reach. Bicester North railway station 15 minutes away with London Marylebone just 65 minutes. Very convenient for M40 and M1 motorways and other major routes.
