Local attractions
We are idealy sited on the Bucks Oxon border, only 20 mins from the dreaming spires the University City of Oxford. Also only 10 mins from world famous designer shopping at Bicester Village, the largest discount designer shopping outlet there is.
Also for the culture vulture Waddesdon Manor is 10 mins away Rothschild’s French Renaissance Manor, maintained and kept by the national trust, the house and gardens are a real gem. Blenheim House is 25 mins away home to the Duke of Marlborough. Blenheim horse trials, and recently the game fair. Claydon house is 10 mins away; Art in action week at Watterperry Gardens is in July. And for modern day thrills Silverstone Circuit is only 20 mins away.
Walkers can trek along the 61 mile Bernwode Jubilee Way, the footpath cuts across the farm which is close proximity to a whole range of heritage features, including ancient woodlands, medieval ridge and furrow field [on our farm], historic buildings and windmills. All the legacy of the former forest of Bernwode.
Unfortunatly due to a working farm no dogs allowed.
